About me
It’s so nice to meet you (or see you again!)
I’m a writer. I’ve written journals, stories, lesson plans, long and short text messages, emails to parents (you eventually get the hang of it), and little songs. I’ve completed a full-length play (which received a 2023 production in Scotland) and several works of short fiction in the science fiction and fantasy genres.
Both my master’s dissertation and my PhD research focused on the life and work of Robert Duncan Milne, involving the collection, transcription, and analysis of over 100 works of fiction.
Since 2022, I have worked as a middle and high school English teacher, helping students develop a love for literature and discover and refine their unique voices.
I was voted as the teacher who is “Most Patient With Students” at my school!
I love a good story, and I take pride in noticing details that shape a reader’s experience. I’ve served as a developmental editor for several novels within my writing community and have proofread countless resumes, CVs, and essays.
I’m a huge fan of pop music, science fiction novels, and Mariah Carey. More broadly, I’m fascinated by fandom of any kind.
